Wellhouse Leisure launches electric iCamper based on Kia PV5

Wellhouse Leisure, a UK-based conversion specialist, has introduced the iCamper, an all‑electric compact campervan built on Kia’s PV5 EV platform. The conversion adds a pop‑top roof, a kitchen‑style layout, a leisure battery, solar panels and a rail‑mounted seating system that can slide, fold or be removed, allowing the vehicle to switch between cargo, passenger and sleeping configurations.

The first iCamper unit is complete with the roof installed and is available for viewing, with orders now being taken. The underlying Kia PV5 van, a 4.69 m‑long electric cargo vehicle, is scheduled to reach Kia dealers in late 2025 and early 2026, making the iCamper one of the earliest electric camper conversions that combine a modern EV platform with flexible tiny‑home features.
