Wellness-focused accommodations expand in Hyogo and Shizuoka

The Japanese hospitality sector is seeing a rise in specialized wellness offerings, specifically focusing on high-quality sauna and cold plunge experiences to enhance guest satisfaction.

In Hyogo Prefecture, Barnibarbi has introduced the Hagoromo1 chiller water bath to its 'amarancia cottage hugging nature house' on Awaji Island. This addition aims to provide a consistent temperature for sauna enthusiasts regardless of the season, supporting the facility's concept of deep connection with nature.

In Shizuoka Prefecture, Cocozas Co., Ltd. has launched a new villa project under its 'COCO VILLA Owners' fractional ownership model. Located in Higashi-Izu, the villa features private hot springs, saunas, and cold plunges with views of Lake Ippeki and Mount Omuro. The project, designed for both personal use and rental income, saw high initial demand with its first eight ownership slots fully subscribed on the day of its launch.
