Welsh football: Rhyl earns draw while The New Saints reach top of table

In the Novira Cymru North, CPD Y Rhyl 1879 secured a 2-2 draw against Bangor City 1876 in a coast derby. Declan McManus scored twice for Bangor, including a goal in the 41st minute and another in the 49th minute. Rhyl responded with two goals in quick succession during the second half, scored by Dan Cockerline in the 56th minute and Joshua Jones in the 60th minute.

In the Novira Cymru Premier, The New Saints moved to the top of the table following a victory over Barry Town United. Rhys Hughes scored the decisive goal in the 88th minute, marking his fourth goal in six league appearances. The win ended Barry Town United’s six-match unbeaten streak.
