Welsh Government Allocates £3.1 million to Strengthen Welsh‑Language Communities
The Welsh Government has announced a £3.1 million investment aimed at bolstering Welsh‑speaking communities across Wales. £2.7 million of the funding will upgrade the Urdd’s residential centres at Pentre Ifan, Llangrannog and Glan‑llyn, increasing capacity for children and young people. An additional £400,000 will be delivered through the Perthyn grant scheme to support community‑led social‑enterprise and housing projects.
