Welsh nu-metal duo C E L A V I release new music

Welsh bilingual nu-metal duo C E L A V I has released the single ‘PLASTER’ and the track ‘AR DY LINIAU (ON YOUR KNEES)’. Both songs are part of their forthcoming EP, titled ‘PRAELIA’, which is scheduled for release on Friday, November 13.

Comprised of married musicians Gwion Griffiths and Sarah Wynn Griffiths, the duo incorporates both Welsh and English lyrics to explore themes of mental health, identity, and resilience. The upcoming EP was produced by Romesh Dodangoda, known for his work with Bring Me The Horizon and Motörhead.

C E L A V I recently made history as the first band to perform in the Welsh language at the Download Festival. Their journey was documented in the film ‘Sgrechian (Screaming)’ by the Welsh-language broadcaster S4C. The band is also set to perform at Pro Weekend Fest 2026 in Spain.
