WELT and ROLLING STONE Germany launch MusikerGrillen talk show

The television station WELT and ROLLING STONE Germany are launching a new interview format titled ‘MusikerGrillen’ on October 3. Hosted by Dennis Sand and Sassan Niasseri, the program features pop culture icons participating in intimate conversations while grilling on a rooftop terrace in Berlin.

Rather than focusing on standard promotional topics like new albums or tours, the show aims to explore deeper biographical themes, personal decisions, and societal issues such as the impact of artificial intelligence on art. The premiere episodes will feature guests including Thomas Anders, Westbam, Doro Pesch, Joachim Witt, and Prinz Pi, with each guest addressing a specific personal leitmotif.

Producers stated the goal is to move beyond short-form digital content to provide intelligent entertainment and music journalism that reveals the human stories behind the music.
