WEMIX relaunches bug bounty program with CertiK

WEMIX has announced the relaunch of its joint bug bounty program with blockchain security firm CertiK to enhance the security and reliability of the WEMIX3.0 blockchain. Hosted on the CertiK Hunt platform, the initiative aims to identify and report code vulnerabilities within core ecosystem components, including the WEMIX3.0 distributed ledger technology (DLT) and governance smart contracts.

The program features a revamped reward structure where payouts are determined by the severity of the findings. Rewards are denominated in USD and distributed via Tether (USDT) on the Ethereum network. For critical blockchain vulnerabilities, payouts can reach $10,000, while smart contract vulnerabilities may receive up to $10,000 depending on the risk level.

To maintain high report quality, participation is limited to security researchers who have undergone CertiK’s vetting process. These researchers are categorized into three tiers—Challenger, Sentinel, and Vanguard—with exclusive reporting privileges reserved for those in the Vanguard tier.
