Wenshan District hosts 14th Shenshou Cup Charity Run

The 14th Shenshou Cup Charity Run took place on October 17 in the Wenshan District of Taipei. The event attracted over 2,000 participants and featured various race distances, including 10km, 5km, and 3.5km.

To integrate traditional culture with fitness, the race included unique categories such as the ‘God Beast Group’ for runners with pets, the ‘God General Group’ where teams carry religious statues, and the ‘God Group’ for multi-generational teams. The event also featured creative costume competitions inspired by religious and animal themes.

As part of its charitable mission, 100 TWD from each participant's registration fee was donated to social causes: 50 TWD to the Taipei Animal Conservation Education Foundation and 50 TWD to the Atopic Dermatitis Patient Association. More than 50 patients and their families participated in the run to promote social awareness and inclusion.
