Wente Family Vineyards considers sale of 1,500 acres in Livermore
Wente Family Vineyards is considering the sale of at least 1,500 acres of land located in and near the Livermore city limits. Negotiating teams met with city officials during a closed session of the Livermore City Council on July 27 to discuss 15 parcels of land. Karl Wente, chief operating officer and board member of Wente Bros., stated the property is being kept open to “opportunities”.
Separately, Wente Bros. is finalizing the sale of an approximately 244-acre property at 6741 Tesla Road. The $7,950,000 sale is currently listed as pending. This site was previously associated with the Beyer Ranch Winery project, which was approved by the Alameda County Planning Commission in 2018.
