Wentworth: Halfway Home announces new cast and teaser

A first look teaser has been released for the upcoming Binge series ‘Wentworth: Halfway Home’, a spin-off of the cult international hit ‘Wentworth’. The series follows former inmates, including Susan ‘Boomer’ Jenkins, as they attempt to rebuild their lives at Sal’s Halfway House. The plot centers on Boomer’s determination to gain custody of her daughter, though tension rises among the residents following the discovery of a body.

Nine new actors have joined the ensemble, including Grace Chow, Nadine Garner, Elaine Crombie, Sara West, Claude Jabbour, Daniel Henshall, Laura Gordon, Thom Green, and Chika Ikogwe. They join returning favorites Katrina Milosevic (Boomer), Nicole da Silva (Franky Doyle), and Kate Box (Lou Kelly), alongside Rachel Griffiths, Sophie Lowe, Alex King, and Chenile Chandler.

The Fremantle Australia production is currently filming in Melbourne and is expected to premiere on Foxtel and Binge before the end of the year. The project features investment from Foxtel, Screen Australia, and VicScreen.
