WEPSEA 2026 Expo to Highlight AI, Sustainability and Growth in Southeast Asian Packaging

The World Expo of Packaging Industry Southeast Asia (WEPSEA 2026) will be held from 27–29 August 2026 at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) in Indonesia. Organized by RX (China) in partnership with the World Packaging Organisation, the three‑day event will bring together the full packaging value chain to showcase innovations in corrugated packaging, digital printing, specialty paper, food packaging and converting technologies. Over 20 conferences, workshops and networking sessions will focus on market intelligence, sustainability requirements, supply‑chain diversification and investment prospects across the region. A flagship forum on 28 August will centre on artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing, presenting AI‑driven automation, pre‑press automation and workflow optimisation for the packaging workflow.

China continues to dominate the global packaging market, supplying eco‑friendly food packaging solutions worldwide. Leading Chinese manufacturers such as Uchampak, Zhejiang Pando EP Technology, Xiamen Luckypack Paper Products, Guangzhou Packoi Printing and Shanghai Sunkea offer a range of paper‑based containers, bento boxes, trays and biodegradable options that meet international standards and sustainability goals. These firms serve restaurants, cafés, food‑delivery services and retailers globally, reinforcing China’s role as a key supplier for the industry.
