Oliver Baumann and Julian Nagelsmann settle World Cup demotion dispute

Nagelsmann expressed regret, saying “Es tat ihm schon leid, wie am Ende alles gelaufen ist,” and both agreed the matter was now “sauber erledigt.” Baumann said he had to “schlucken” the decision but added he had given the team energy and laid a foundation for future success.
