Werder Bremen targets Bologna striker Thijs Dallinga

Werder Bremen is reportedly pursuing a transfer for striker Thijs Dallinga from Italian club Bologna. According to transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the 26-year-old forward is on the verge of being sold to a foreign club.

Dallinga, who moved from Toulouse to Bologna in 2024 for 16 million euros, has struggled to meet expectations in Serie A, scoring only five goals in 54 matches. While Werder Bremen is a primary interested party, another unnamed Bundesliga club is also reportedly monitoring the player.

Werder Bremen may look to fund the acquisition through the potential sale of defender Karim Coulibaly. Dallinga previously showed strong form in the Netherlands with Excelsior and in France with Toulouse, where he scored 37 goals in 86 appearances.
