The first nominees for the We’re Smart Future Awards 2026 have been announced. These awards recognize companies, organizations, and innovations contributing to the future of vegetables, fruit, and pure plant gastronomy.

The winners will be revealed on October 25, 2026, during the Pure Plant Gala Night in Bruges. This event marks the 10th anniversary of the We’re Smart initiative. From October 25 to 27, 2026, Bruges is expected to host over 200 top chefs, entrepreneurs, researchers, and food industry professionals from more than 50 countries.

Founder Frank Fol stated that the awards aim to honor not only chefs but also the pioneers accelerating the food transition to build the gastronomy of tomorrow.
