Werk1 expands Munich startup campus with coliving services

Werk1, a startup campus located in Munich, has expanded its facilities and services to include a coliving concept designed to support the international startup community. Since its launch in 2013, the organization has grown significantly, moving into a larger complex in 2023 that provides approximately 11,000 square meters of space.

The coliving initiative aims to address the scarcity and high cost of housing in Munich by offering temporary living arrangements for up to six months. This service is intended to help international talent settle into the city while working within the campus ecosystem.

Beyond office and residential space, Werk1 functions as a hub for the startup scene, hosting coworking areas, event spaces, and onsite investors such as High-Tech Gründerfonds and Bayern Kapital to facilitate direct connections between startups and capital.
