Wernher von Braun's 1952 book features character named Elon

A coincidence involving the name ‘Elon’ has resurfaced following the 1952 publication of ‘Project Mars: A Technical Tale’ by rocket engineer and NASA pioneer Wernher von Braun.

In the book, which details plans for the colonization of Mars, von Braun describes a Martian government led by a figure named ‘Elon’ who is elected as the President of Mars. The presence of this name in a mid-20th-century text about space travel has drawn comparisons to contemporary entrepreneur Elon Musk, a prominent figure in modern space exploration through his company SpaceX.
