Werwölfe reality gameshow returns for second season on ARD

The second season of the German reality gameshow ‘Werwölfe - Das Spiel von List und Täuschung’ is premiering on ARD. Based on the popular social game ‘Die Werwölfe von Düsterwald’, the show features 15 participants, including a lawyer, a police officer, a psychologist, and a former secret agent, competing in a forest setting.

Participants must navigate a game of bluffing and deception to distinguish between villagers and werewolves. This season introduces new elements, such as spectacular quests for special roles and the presence of a witch and a ‘wolfhound’ role. The show is narrated by comedian Michael Kessler and is available via the ARD Mediathek, with episodes released in batches throughout September and October.
