Wesel department store revitalized by investor
An investor has successfully revitalized a former Galeria department store in Wesel, Germany, within two years of the chain's insolvency. The 10,000 square meter building, located in the city's pedestrian zone, had previously experienced a significant drop in foot traffic and activity following its closure in late 2024.
The redevelopment is bringing new retail life to the area, with businesses such as Ernsting’s Family recently opening their doors in the space.
