West Bandung Regent provides shuttle vehicle for SD Negeri Budiharja students

Jeje Ritchie Ismail, the Regent of West Bandung, has provided an operational vehicle to serve as a shuttle for students at SD Negeri Budiharja in the Cililin District. This initiative aims to replace the long-standing practice of students having to cross the Saguling Reservoir using bamboo rafts to reach school.

The West Bandung Regency Government will cover operational costs, including fuel and driver salaries, for the first six months. The service is provided free of charge to students and their families. While this vehicle serves as an immediate solution to ensure student safety, officials noted it is a temporary measure while a permanent solution is developed.
