West Bank: Settlers allegedly set fire to Palestinian home

On the morning of August 20, armed Israeli settlers allegedly set fire to a Palestinian home in Khirbet al-Fara, located south of Hebron and west of Jenin. According to reports from the Palestinian news agency WAFA and the Anadolu Agency, the attack targeted the residence of Bassam al-Nawaj while a family of five was sleeping inside.

Aliya al-Nawaja, a resident of the home, reported that five masked individuals appeared at dawn. She stated that one attacker opened a bedroom window where she and her daughter were sleeping, issued threats, and subsequently set the room on fire. The flames spread rapidly before the occupants could gain control of the situation.

The incident occurred in a region where Palestinian communities face ongoing pressure from the expansion of settlements and military patrols.
