West Bengal ministers urge TMC leaders to obey court orders
State minister Dilip Ghosh said that complying with court directives is mandatory for everyone, referencing ongoing CBI and ED probes into former chief minister Mamata Banerjee, her son Abhishek Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress. He linked the issue to broader topics such as industrialisation and law‑and‑order improvements in the state.
Urban development minister Agnimitra Paul challenged the Trinamool Congress to hold its July 21 “Shahid Day” rally at Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground, questioning the party’s organisational strength. She also demanded that the report of the 1993 police firing inquiry be made public, accusing the TMC of rewarding officials involved in the incident.
