West Ham bids £8m for Viking FK winger Edvin Austbø

West Ham United has launched an official £8m bid for Viking FK winger Edvin Austbø, though the opening offer was reportedly rejected by the Norwegian club. The 21-year-old Norwegian is considered a highly rated talent known for his pace, direct running, and ball-carrying abilities.

Following the departures of Crysencio Summerville and Adama Traore, West Ham is looking to bolster its wide options. While the club has already secured Manor Solomon, recruitment director Nils Koppen is targeting younger prospects to balance the squad's recent veteran signings, such as Joel Veltman.
