West Ham Turns Down Serie A Bids for Füllkrug and Wan‑Bissaka

West Ham United is likely to write off the €27 million paid for German striker Niclas Füllkrug after a series of injuries and limited impact. The club’s coach, Nuno Espírito Santo, doubts the 33‑year‑old can handle the rigours of English football and has indicated he does not feature in future plans. A Serie A club has shown interest, but according to an agent, “there is still interest from a big club in Italy but nobody will pay serious money because of his injury record.”

Separately, Italian side Lazio submitted a €10 million offer for right‑back Aaron Wan‑Bissaka, whom West Ham consider an outcast following a fallout with the coach. The club described the bid as “insulting,” noting that Wan‑Bissaka, whose contract runs until 2031, is valued at least double that amount after a strong World Cup showing. Lazio’s interest appears secondary to their primary goal of strengthening other positions, including striker and centre‑back roles.
