West Ham United moves for Sorba Thomas in £10m bid to replace Crysencio Summerville

West Ham United are preparing a £10 million‑plus offer for Stoke City left‑winger Sorba Thomas. The club view Thomas, who recorded 10 goals and 11 assists in the 2025/26 Championship season, as a suitable replacement for Crysencio Summerville, who is set to join Al‑Hilal. Thomas has two years remaining on his contract and is reported to be open to a move.

The transfer target comes as West Ham look to bolster their squad for a promotion push back to the Premier League. Recent cash inflows – including the £155 million sale of Summerville and Mateus Fernandes and a £90 million stake purchase by majority owner Daniel Křetínský – give the Hammers the financial muscle to pursue the deal.
