West Hollywood emerges as California design capital

West Hollywood has established itself as a major hub for the creative industry in California, specifically through its Design District. The area features a high concentration of over 250 showrooms, galleries, boutiques, and studios specializing in interior design, art, fashion, and architecture.

A central landmark in this district is the Pacific Design Center, a 1.6 million square foot campus designed by architect César Pelli. The complex will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026. Additionally, the Design West Hollywood event is scheduled to take place from September 29 to October 1, 2026.
