In the Super League, the Wigan Warriors secured their sixth League Leaders’ Shield with a 50-12 victory over the Catalans Dragons at the Brick Community Stadium. This win, part of a 16-match winning streak under head coach Matt Peet, follows a decisive victory against the Leeds Rhinos that allowed the Warriors to leapfrog into first place in the standings.
