West Hull nears National Leagues Premier Division title

West Hull is nearing the conclusion of the 2026 National Leagues Premier Division season. Currently holding an eight-point lead over Hunslet ARLFC, the team is positioned to potentially secure the Premier Division League Leaders’ Shield.

For Hunslet ARLFC to claim the top spot, they would need to win their remaining four games while West Hull loses all of theirs by significant margins. The top-six championship play-offs are expected to include West Hull, Hunslet ARLFC, Waterhead Warriors, and Siddal, alongside two additional teams from contenders such as Thatto Heath Crusaders, Wath Brow Hornets, or Wigan St Judes.

Regarding relegation, Rochdale Mayfield appears likely to drop from the top flight, while competition remains between Heworth, York Acorn, and Lock Lane for the second relegation spot.
