West Java Governor promotes e-voting for village elections

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi is advocating for the implementation of electronic voting (e-voting) for village head elections (Pilkades) across all villages in the province. The initiative aims to modernize village governance and increase efficiency.

By utilizing a paperless e-voting system, the provincial government seeks to accelerate the vote-counting process, allowing election results to be determined almost immediately after polls close. This digital transformation is intended to reduce administrative costs and ensure that the benefits of efficient election management reach even the most remote areas.
