West Java launches online job fair with 1,112 vacancies
The West Java Provincial Government has launched an online job fair, offering 1,112 vacancies across 28 companies. Announced by Governor Dedi Mulyadi via a TikTok live stream, the initiative aims to expand public access to employment information.
Specific opportunities include warehouse staff and operator roles at PT Everpro Indonesia Technologies, a fiber optic cable manufacturer, for applicants aged 18 to 35. Additionally, PT Mitra Utama Madani is recruiting account officers with salaries ranging from Rp5 million to Rp6 million.
To improve employability, the provincial government plans to launch foreign language training programs starting in November 2026. These programs will target four villages in every sub-district, focusing on English, Mandarin, Japanese, and Arabic.
Furthermore, the government is implementing measures to protect migrant workers. To prevent illegal employment abroad, residents seeking overseas work will now be required to obtain recommendations from the local Manpower Office, particularly in regions such as Indramayu, Karawang, and Subang.
