West Java legislator gathers community aspirations in Ciamis

Heri Rafni Kotari, a member of the West Java Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) from the NasDem Party, conducted a government oversight activity in Sindangsari Village, Ciamis Regency, on September 14, 2026.

During the visit, which included village officials and community leaders, residents were provided a platform to voice concerns regarding education, health, the economy, infrastructure, and public services. Kotari emphasized that effective oversight requires direct engagement with the community to understand local priorities beyond official reports and documents. He stressed that village-level governance must be built on transparency, accountability, and active community participation to ensure policies effectively address the needs of the people.
