West Java officials advance 2026 budget and infrastructure plans
The West Java Provincial Government and regional leaders are advancing several key administrative and developmental agendas. The West Java Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) has begun discussions regarding the 2026 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (PAPBD). Vice Governor Erwan Setiawan projected regional revenue at Rp27.85 trillion against planned expenditures of Rp30.82 trillion, noting a decrease in local revenue targets due to the rise of electric vehicles affecting vehicle tax collections.
In West Bandung Regency, Regent Jeje Ritchie Ismail is overseeing road infrastructure repairs on the Ciririp-Bangsaya and Rancapanggung-Ugrem routes to improve community mobility. The projects involve both hotmix and concrete construction to address long-standing damage.
Additionally, Governor Dedi Mulyadi held a coordination meeting in Bekasi with regional heads and sports committee leaders to ensure readiness for the 15th West Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov XV). The Governor emphasized the need for fiscal efficiency during the event preparations.
