West Java Police Guard Trauma Recovery of Kidnapped Victim in Bandung

West Java Police (Polda Jabar) said they will protect the psychological recovery of YTR, a 29‑year‑old woman who was kidnapped and abused by her boyfriend for three years in Bandung. Police chief Irjen Pol Rudi Setiawan explained that the upcoming interrogation will be conducted carefully so as not to aggravate her trauma, noting that her condition has been improving. The questioning aims to obtain information that could help locate the suspect, identified only by the initials TH, who remains at large. YTR continues to receive medical and psychological support while authorities intensify the manhunt.
