West Java street crime rises as student robbed in Karawang

Street crime is rising in West Java, following a robbery in Karawang where a 17-year-old student was targeted. The victim, identified as WA, was traveling alone in the Telagasari District after dropping off a friend.

According to Karawang Police, two men on a motorcycle intercepted the victim. One suspect allegedly used a cutter to threaten the student before stealing his motorcycle and mobile phone. Local police have conducted a crime scene investigation and are currently working to identify the perpetrators.
