West Mercia Police arrest three in Telford after horsebox stop on M54

Three individuals – an 18‑year‑old man, a 42‑year‑old man and a 17‑year‑old boy – were arrested by West Mercia Police after a vehicle towing a horsebox was stopped on the M54 near Telford. Officers opened the horsebox and discovered a quad bike that had been reported stolen and was registered to an address in Shrewsbury. Detective Sergeant Craig Ryder said the operation demonstrated proactive policing and that the recovered bike will be returned to its owner. All three suspects remain in custody while enquiries continue.
