West Monroe Man Charged in Louisiana Drug Vending Machine Case

Louisiana police arrested 35‑year‑old Jonathan Coburn of West Monroe after parents reported that children were purchasing THC vape pens, THC gummies and mushroom‑infused candy bars from a refrigerated vending machine placed in the carport of his home on Arlington Drive. The Ouachita Parish Metro Narcotics Unit investigated the tip, visited the property on July 1 and obtained a search warrant.

During the search agents seized large quantities of marijuana, THC vape products, THC gummies, mushroom candy bars, assorted drug paraphernalia, drug ledgers, a money‑counting device, two firearms with ammunition, two locked safes, banking records and money‑banding materials. Coburn was not present when the warrant was executed and now faces multiple felony charges related to drug distribution and weapons offenses.
