The U.S. Military Academy at West Point will host a series of athletic competitions and national sports broadcasts from November 7–8 to honor military veterans. The events include the annual Army–Air Force football game at Michie Stadium and various competitions such as dual boxing matches and rifle competitions.

FOX Sports will conduct a two-day military salute as part of its Veterans Day programming. On Saturday, November 7, the ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ will broadcast live from West Point, featuring hundreds of uniformed cadets. On Sunday, November 8, ‘FOX NFL Sunday’ will broadcast simultaneously from West Point and the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Lt. Gen. James B. Bartholomees III, Superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy, stated that the academy honors the courage of veterans by preparing the next generation of leaders. Attendees are advised to expect increased traffic and security screenings during the weekend.
