West Pomeranian Voivodeship launches fifth nursing scholarship program
The fifth edition of a scholarship program for nursing students in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship has been launched. The initiative, a collaboration between regional authorities, the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Koszalin, and local Chambers of Nurses and Midwives, aims to address the high demand for qualified medical personnel.
Eligible applicants include third-year nursing students residing in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship who are studying at the participating institutions. The primary selection criterion is the grade point average from the previous academic year. Successful candidates can receive a gross monthly stipend of 1,500 PLN for a period of nine months, totaling 13,500 PLN annually.
Applications are being accepted from October 1 to October 31, 2026. In the previous four editions of the program, 108 students signed scholarship agreements, with total support amounting to nearly 1 million PLN.
