West Seattle hosts various community festivals and local events
West Seattle is hosting a variety of community events and local activities throughout the late summer season. Notable gatherings include the multi-day Admiral Block Party at Admiral Junction, which features music, vendors, and local talent.
Other scheduled activities include the West Seattle Farmers’ Market, a wellness festival at White Center Strength Fest, and the Westwood Village End of Summer Festival. Local fitness and social opportunities are also available, such as the West Seattle Running Club, various workout groups at Hiawatha Playfield, and open-mic music sessions at Kenyon Hall.
In terms of local infrastructure, residents should note ongoing closures, including the West Seattle low bridge and the bike path alongside it, as well as a three-month closure of the West Seattle Admiral Library for HVAC maintenance.
