West Sumatra Governor Mahyeldi Ansharullah presented awards to several regional government agencies that achieved an 'A' rating in the 2026 Government Institution Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) evaluation.

The awards were presented during a performance evaluation meeting at the Governor's Office on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Mahyeldi emphasized that the 'A' rating should not be viewed merely as an administrative success, but as a reflection of a measurable, accountable, and results-oriented government work process.

Recipients were divided into two categories: those who maintained an 'A' rating for three consecutive years (2024–2026) and those who newly achieved the rating in 2026. Sixteen agencies successfully maintained the top rating, including the Forestry Service, Bappeda, and the Regional Inspectorate.
