West University of Timișoara announces new networking and sports events

The West University of Timișoara (UVT) is spearheading two major community events in Timișoara.

On November 5, 2026, the university will serve as an educational partner for the first edition of ‘Noaptea Companiilor’ (Companies' Night). Organized by OTB Creative, this professional networking and career fair allows companies to host participants at their own offices for tours, technical demonstrations, and direct recruitment. The event aims to bridge the gap between academia and the business sector.

Additionally, UVT is collaborating with Mons Events to host the inaugural ‘Timișoara Playground Festival’ from September 11–20, 2026. The sports festival will take place in central locations, including Piața Operei and Piața Libertății, featuring competitions in street football, 3x3 basketball, sand football, sand volleyball, sand handball, and sand rugby.
