West Virginia Democrats launch Kitchen Table Tour ahead of November election

West Virginia Democratic candidates and elected officials are conducting the ‘Kitchen Table Tour’ to engage voters ahead of the November 3 general election. The tour, which recently held a rally at Slack Plaza in Charleston, aims to connect candidates for Congress, the state legislature, and local offices directly with residents.

House Minority Leader Sean Hornbuckle stated the party aims to gain seats in both the House and Senate, framing the campaign as a movement to address issues such as population loss and economic concerns. Delegate Mike Pushkin, chairman of the West Virginia Democratic Party, noted that the tour serves to listen to constituents and recruit new candidates.

The tour is scheduled to visit several counties, including Boone, Jefferson, Hancock, and Cabell, as part of an effort to highlight everyday issues like the rising costs of groceries and gas.
