West Virginia State University (WVSU) head coach Whitney Bays has announced the women’s basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Yellow Jackets will play 13 games at the Walker Convocation Center.

The season begins with an exhibition at Marshall University on November 12, followed by the regular-season opener at Slippery Rock University on November 18. WVSU will host its home opener against Ohio Dominican University on November 24. Mountain East Conference play is scheduled to commence on December 2 against Frostburg State University.

A key highlight of the schedule is the annual rivalry game against the University of Charleston, set for January 20. The regular season will conclude on February 27 at Charleston, leading into the Mountain East Conference Tournament held from March 3-7 at WesBanco Arena.
