Westcon-Comstor adds 1Password to AWS Marketplace portfolio

Westcon-Comstor, a global distributor of cybersecurity, networking and hybrid‑cloud solutions, announced on 30 July 2026 that it is expanding its AWS Marketplace portfolio to include 1Password, a leading identity‑security provider. The agreement enables reseller partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to acquire 1Password solutions through private listings on the AWS Marketplace, simplifying procurement, accelerating project completion and opening new revenue opportunities.

The partnership builds on an existing EMEA distribution agreement and uses the AWS “Designated Seller of Record” (DSOR) model introduced in 2024. Analysts project that the majority of the expected $163 billion in hyperscaler‑marketplace investments through 2030 will flow via channel partners, underscoring the strategic importance of the move. More than 200,000 enterprises and millions of individual users already rely on 1Password for protecting against unauthorized access.
