Westenergie Family Day Brings Children's Concert and Free Festival to Raesfeld

Westenergie hosted its annual Family Day on 16 August 2026 at the natural stage in the park of Raesfeld Castle, Germany. The program opened with the one‑hour children’s concert “Jimmy wants to become a musician,” aimed at kids aged four and up, and featured audience participation with homemade instruments.

After the concert, a free family festival continued with a playground, face painting, a mobile music‑making station, and craft stations. Westenergie communications manager Katja Prahs highlighted the event’s goal of combining music, art and culture for both children and adults. Organisers from musik:landschaft – westfalen, including Maximilian Klapsing, also contributed to the programme.

The day was open to the public at no charge, offering a blend of classical music exposure and recreational activities for the local community.
