Western Australians secure major Lotto windfalls

Several lottery winners in Western Australia have secured significant windfalls from recent Saturday Lotto draws. One resident claimed a division one prize of approximately $2.11 million, being one of three Australians to split the top prize.

In a separate win, a construction worker secured a near-$650,000 prize. He plans to split the winnings with his best friend of seven years. The win occurred after the man deviated from his usual routine to visit a butcher in Forrestfield at his wife's request, where he purchased the winning ticket.

The winners intend to use the funds for various personal goals, including overseas holidays, paying off mortgages, and assisting children with home purchases. Other Western Australians also won smaller amounts, with fourteen people securing division two prizes of $12,160 and 176 people winning division three prizes of $958.75.
