Western Australia gold projects report high‑grade drilling results

Medallion Metals announced new drilling at its Lounge Lizard deposit within the Forrestania gold project in Western Australia. The latest assay returned 11 m at 6.94 g/t Au from 50 m depth, 9 m at 8.69 g/t Au from 67 m, and 5 m at 10.16 g/t Au from 98 m. Validation work on 212 historic holes has extended the known mineralised zone to over 1 km strike length and 466 m depth, supporting the company’s plan for a maiden mineral resource estimate in the third quarter of 2026.

GoldArc Resources reported consistent gold intersections from its Mt Stirling deposit, also in Western Australia. The fifth batch of reverse‑circulation drilling produced ten intercepts of 7 m or longer at grades of 1.38 g/t Au or higher, including a 5 m interval at 8.56 g/t Au within a broader 17 m zone of 3.48 g/t Au. High‑grade shoots of up to 26.1 g/t Au were also encountered. To date, about 19,180 m of the planned 34,000 m program has been completed, providing data for grade‑control modelling and mine‑plan optimisation.
