Western Australia mining firms announce strong exploration results

Ora Banda Mining (ASX:OBM) reported expanded drilling results at its Little Gem gold prospect in Western Australia. New intercepts on the Gem and Sapphire lodes, including 18.0 m at 3.4 g/t and 13.0 m at 3.2 g/t, have increased the known strike to over 2.6 km and defined more than 4,700 m of lode continuity. The company aims to produce a maiden mineral resource estimate later this year.

WA1 Resources (ASX:WA1) disclosed high‑grade niobium intersections at its Luni project in the north of Western Australia, with drill holes such as 7.3 m at 2.9 % and 21.4 m at 7.4 % niobium. The infill drilling supports an updated mineral resource estimate and a pre‑feasibility study scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of calendar year 2026. Recent commissioning of an airstrip at Luni has improved logistics for ongoing field work.
