Western Australia mining firms Killi Resources and Kali Metals launch drilling programs

Killi Resources (ASX:KLI) has secured drilling approvals for a maiden exploration program at its recently acquired Lodestone Iron Ore Project in Western Australia’s Mid West. The plan involves up to 155 reverse‑circulation holes and 35 diamond core holes to expand the existing 110‑million‑tonne inferred resource and to generate metallurgical samples. The company also announced a two‑tranche $15 million share placement to fund the work.

Kali Metals (ASX:KM1) released initial assay results from Phase II drilling at the Marble Bar Gold Project. The data confirm down‑dip extensions of gold mineralisation at the Tiger II Prospect, with several intercepts above the 0.5 g/t cut‑off, including 3 metres at 3.6 g/t. The company expects further results from remaining RC and soil sampling programs in the coming weeks and plans additional diamond drilling in July.
