Western Community College celebrates 600 graduates and launches hospital wellness program

Western Community College (WCC) recently celebrated its 2026 Convocation in Surrey, British Columbia, graduating 600 students. The graduates completed programs in various career-focused disciplines, including health care, hospitality, early childhood education, and community support.

In a separate community initiative, WCC has partnered with the Surrey Hospitals Foundation to offer free weekly massages to staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Every Friday, students from the college’s registered massage therapy (RMT) program provide these services under professional supervision. The program aims to support the wellness of health-care workers while allowing RMT students to gain necessary practical experience.
