Western District farm properties enter spring sales market
Two historic agricultural properties in Victoria’s Western District have entered the spring sales market. The properties include Kooraweera at Camperdown, spanning 385 hectares (953 acres), and Barbreck at Birregurra, spanning 482 hectares (1191 acres).
The Kooraweera property features an early 1900s four-bedroom homestead with views of Mount Elephant and overlooks a scenic lake that is part of a nature reserve. The land is used for extensive cropping and traditional stock grazing, supported by an average annual rainfall of 650mm. On-farm improvements include a three-stand woolshed, cattle yards, silos, and various sheds. Water is supplied via the Larra spring, bores, and dams.
Additional accommodation on the Kooraweera site includes a three-bedroom staff cottage and historic shearing quarters. Sales are being conducted through expressions of interest, with a closing date of Tuesday, September 29.
